Sorry to say we missed opening day. One of easier race days for finishing high. Why? Because not everyone is ready so car counts are usually low. A for sure top 10. Well we didn't make it. Not because the car wasn't ready, but because of an emergency.
About a mile or 2 down the road, I thought I would call my fiance' and see how her horse was doing. He wasn't doing well in the morning. Needless to say I had to turn around and head back home. Drop the car off and hook up a horse trailer and get Rykin over to Michigan State to have them look at him. I'm beginning to think a race car is much cheaper than a horse. I can have my latemodel's engine rebuilt for less than this bill is going to be.
If you want to have any money for racing, don't buy yourself a 1 horsepower hay eater.
He's a great looking horse though. A little sensitive, but good looking. Should be picking him up in the next couple of days.
